Our Board
The QYB Board of Directors is comprised of dedicated volunteers—including community members, parents, and coaches—who generously contribute their time to our program. Their responsibilities encompass overseeing local tournaments, coordinating events, and managing daily operations to ensure a positive experience for all participants. We continually seek community volunteers to assist with tournaments, refereeing games, coaching, and supporting our young athletes. Your feedback, patience, and unwavering support for basketball are deeply appreciated.
• Leads the organization • Presides over meeting/setting agenda • Makes final decision with board input • Gym time reservations
• Supports the president and steps in during their absence • Handles scheduling conflicts • Help manage relationships with coaches, parents and players • Equipment collection at the end of the season
• Brings AAU experience and contacts
• Manages finances and budgets • Collects and tracks player fees and payments • Manages QYB budget and bank account • Provides insight to the capacity of purchases
• Handles Communication and records • Takes and distributes meeting minutes • Coordinating board meeting and preparing agenda
• Registration, website and community communication • Maintains accurate AAU participant records • keeps in communication with Boosters club
• In charge of the Little Jackrabbit League • Orders gear • Builds teams • Sets game schedules
